Before I traveled for work and was a veterinarian in my town, I dreaded grocery shopping because I always ran into at least 2-3 clients who needed to get medical advice. Why anyone would ever seek fame is beyond me. I prefer anonymity.

The dog I got in high school, who made me realize I should be a veterinarian, was named Mandy. Still cannot hear that song without tears and I lost her in 2002… plus once on a plane in the late 70s I recognized him and he winked at me. I felt so proud to keep that a secret the whole flight at 8 or 9

Sweet. Was hoping to see it here in VT, but 30 minutes before, the clouds rolled in and it is still raining. No complaints though because I got to see the total eclipse with my kids in our own backyard in ‘24.
