I thought they have Microsoft Designer. It comes up on my work PC when I open Publisher. It has a subscription or "Pro" component, so I figured it was a nudge to pay MS more money. 🤷

That was creepy. I kept hearing faint music while walking to the mailbox. It was "Golden," a song I dislike. Once in the house and noticing that the music was still playing I quickly realized that I never turned off my iPad when I left work. #ImNotHearingThings 🙄

Very annoying. I have a bunch of Publisher files that will be useless and inaccessible after tomorrow. I use Pixelmator at home and I can design the hell out of a Word document. The Microsoft decision seems $$ based so they can extract a subscription fee from Publisher's replacement whatever it is.

Crazy! Local news reporting about a woman who was scammed buying, what ended up being, a stolen car on Facebook Marketplace. Now she's out nearly $8,000 cash and the car. Plus her boyfriend was driving the car unregistered (Duh!) which got the police involved. You can't make this shit up.

As usual I'm wasting time here on Bluesky when I should be in the shower. Maybe that social media app "pause point" was a good idea. I might reactivate that new Pixel feature. The feature was annoying and frustrating, but definitely could keep me focused in the mornings and while at work.

It's a terrible thing. It's how they're trained. Very different from Eastern (Ancient) medicine & therapies. It's one reason why I believe in acupuncture. The potential for side effects must be daunting even for doctors. I don't know how they keep up or sort it all out. Patient feedback is critical.

I hope to see some relief in the next 6 months. I'm hopeful that I'm not one of those "never fully recover" individuals cited in the professional literature and health blogs. I would never have suspected vitamin toxicity, but I knew some can reach unhealthy levels (particularly the fat-soluble).

I looked up my order history for the two B6 containing products that I suspect are at the center of my sometimes intolerable nerve pain. It turns out I've been "overdosing" on 1100% of B6 since July 2025. It's not definitive, but I'd say this correlates with the start of symptoms.

I just declined authorization for sharing my health information with the platform used by the medical practice I have an appointment with today. They couldn't guarantee data privacy as required by HIPAA. It pays to read through the consent. This was during app-based check-in.

I previously told my chiropractor (same physician's group) that their calls came up the same way. They seemed unfazed to the point where they practically have already given up with complaints of this type. I guess I'm not the only one.

I'm trying to understand why a medical practice would use a generic reminder service that comes up as NEW YORK, NY on caller ID. It seems as most people would ignore those calls and/or potentially report them as spam. 🙄🤷 In this case it was my sleep doctor reminding me about tomorrow's appointment.

I love when there's a software update to Open Core Legacy Patcher intended to "fix" a root file issue that ends up borking my mouse and keyboard. I'm guessing the USB 1.1 kernel is either missing, unsupported or corrupted. No recourse but to wait for an update. I will try a Bluetooth mouse.

The basement has some water in it. That's to be expected with what will be 3 days of rain. Glad I was proactive and moved my new yoga mat where that little puddle is now.

Moderate amount of rain water in the basement. This is near where I believe there to be a crack in the foundation; possibly from an earthquake about 6 years ago.

Smaller puddle. I guess water is seeping up from the dirt subfloor.

It turns out that cottonseed and MCT oil are thinner than vegetable and/or olive oil making either better suited as a carrier oil. Next Saturday's injection should be fine and faster than 50 seconds.

Just did a test of the 25G insulin needles that arrived today appear to take up to 50 seconds to administer my TRT weekly injections. By contrast, the 27G needles takes about 10 seconds. I tested the syringe with olive oil but I don't know if the TRT carrier oil is thinner or thicker.

Reordering syringes for TRT self-injection. While the 25G syringe has worked, I'm switching to a 27G (insulin) syringe to test for comfort, as I believe I have some scar tissue building up. If the thinner syringe fails, I can always go back to the wider gauge. My dose falls within the 27G-30G range.

There supposed to be a way to set the Wi-Fi lights to turn on at a default state (e.g., off or 1%) when power (primary or backup) is restored, but I'm having trouble finding and setting it across multiple brands. I use TP-LINK/KASA and WiZ/Philips and both setup differently.

There was one power outage overnight. Possibly around 1:30am. It seemed brief, but I don't really know as I woke from a deep sleep when the battery backup alarms went off and then the Wi-Fi lights in my bedroom came on at 100% once the generator kicked in. I hate being woken up that way.

So I appear to be over-supplementing B6, zinc, copper and possibly vitamin E. I've pulled several supplements from my daily routine and will monitor for improvement in leg weakness, nerve pain and fatigue. Better guidance from medical providers could've helped me avoid this or stop sooner.

Today I learned about B6 toxicity and I'm wondering if that's what's causing my leg/nerve pain. The RDA of B6 is 1.7mg and I'm taking 20mg between two melatonin-containing supplements. I'm stopping both with the hope things will reverse. A probiotic also contains B6 but the exact amount is unknown.

What about Contigo? I've had several of them and don't recall any leaks. I use the AUTOSEAL push button version, which also has a safety lock.
