That was creepy. I kept hearing faint music while walking to the mailbox. It was "Golden," a song I dislike. Once in the house and noticing that the music was still playing I quickly realized that I never turned off my iPad when I left work. #ImNotHearingThings 🙄

Crazy! Local news reporting about a woman who was scammed buying, what ended up being, a stolen car on Facebook Marketplace. Now she's out nearly $8,000 cash and the car. Plus her boyfriend was driving the car unregistered (Duh!) which got the police involved. You can't make this shit up.

As usual I'm wasting time here on Bluesky when I should be in the shower. Maybe that social media app "pause point" was a good idea. I might reactivate that new Pixel feature. The feature was annoying and frustrating, but definitely could keep me focused in the mornings and while at work.

I looked up my order history for the two B6 containing products that I suspect are at the center of my sometimes intolerable nerve pain. It turns out I've been "overdosing" on 1100% of B6 since July 2025. It's not definitive, but I'd say this correlates with the start of symptoms.

I just declined authorization for sharing my health information with the platform used by the medical practice I have an appointment with today. They couldn't guarantee data privacy as required by HIPAA. It pays to read through the consent. This was during app-based check-in.

I'm trying to understand why a medical practice would use a generic reminder service that comes up as NEW YORK, NY on caller ID. It seems as most people would ignore those calls and/or potentially report them as spam. 🙄🤷 In this case it was my sleep doctor reminding me about tomorrow's appointment.

I love when there's a software update to Open Core Legacy Patcher intended to "fix" a root file issue that ends up borking my mouse and keyboard. I'm guessing the USB 1.1 kernel is either missing, unsupported or corrupted. No recourse but to wait for an update. I will try a Bluetooth mouse.

The basement has some water in it. That's to be expected with what will be 3 days of rain. Glad I was proactive and moved my new yoga mat where that little puddle is now.

Moderate amount of rain water in the basement. This is near where I believe there to be a crack in the foundation; possibly from an earthquake about 6 years ago.

Smaller puddle. I guess water is seeping up from the dirt subfloor.

Just did a test of the 25G insulin needles that arrived today appear to take up to 50 seconds to administer my TRT weekly injections. By contrast, the 27G needles takes about 10 seconds. I tested the syringe with olive oil but I don't know if the TRT carrier oil is thinner or thicker.

Reordering syringes for TRT self-injection. While the 25G syringe has worked, I'm switching to a 27G (insulin) syringe to test for comfort, as I believe I have some scar tissue building up. If the thinner syringe fails, I can always go back to the wider gauge. My dose falls within the 27G-30G range.

There was one power outage overnight. Possibly around 1:30am. It seemed brief, but I don't really know as I woke from a deep sleep when the battery backup alarms went off and then the Wi-Fi lights in my bedroom came on at 100% once the generator kicked in. I hate being woken up that way.

So I appear to be over-supplementing B6, zinc, copper and possibly vitamin E. I've pulled several supplements from my daily routine and will monitor for improvement in leg weakness, nerve pain and fatigue. Better guidance from medical providers could've helped me avoid this or stop sooner.

Today I learned about B6 toxicity and I'm wondering if that's what's causing my leg/nerve pain. The RDA of B6 is 1.7mg and I'm taking 20mg between two melatonin-containing supplements. I'm stopping both with the hope things will reverse. A probiotic also contains B6 but the exact amount is unknown.

Just requested a remote appointment to activate the Matrix LED headlights in my car. This is an over-the-air session. I'm hoping they have evening or weekend options. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people don't read signs and directions. Our staff bathrooms have the typical occupied/vacant signs yet people don't knock and just open the door. It annoys me greatly. As one of my favorite comedians would say, "I lose my cherub-like demeanor". 🙄

I'm guessing my scale wasn't working correctly last week. My weight is up 4 pounds this week and there's no way I ate enough extra calories to make that happen. Last week, my weight popped on the display almost immediately and that's usually a sign of malfunction or at least an inaccurate reading.

I don't ever remember a time when a roadway crash - or multiple crashes - were reported nearly every weekday! Today, we have at least 5 crashes as the morning commute gets underway. Slow down and pay attention. And stop being so rude behind the wheel.

Eating breakfast for the first time after the huge dining room table was taken away. It's not great. The new "temporary" table is small and lower to the ground. My butt already knows the difference in this sad excuse for a cushioned chair. Time to furniture shop for a better replacement.

I had some Swedish Fish Chews yesterday. They were like a cross between Starburst & Tootsie Rolls, but tasted nothing like their namesake. I was worried eating them might trigger a candy binge, but so far so good. I also don't keep candy in the house for this exact reason. #SugarAddictForLife

I have 2 XUMO streaming boxes from Spectrum. I think I disconnected them almost right after setting them up. They're horrible and vastly inferior to Apple TV 4K boxes or any other mainstream box for that matter. I need to return them so Spectrum will stop charging me $10 a month.
