Last week, I was glad to participate in the CoARA Nat. Chapters Forum in Madrid (www.coara.org/agenda-natio...), representing the proposed Greek chapter (currently under review) & presenting our plans for our 2y kick-off. Valuable opportunity to learn from established chapters & exchange ideas.

In his article (cacm.acm.org/blogcacm/whe...), C. Baquero claims that we are moving from vibe to agentic science. I don't fully agree with all the ideas presented but I share the view that res. infrastructures must evolve to accommodate AI-driven science ensuring it remains rigorous & transparent.

In his article (cacm.acm.org/opinion/ai-s...) J. Grimmelmann explains how AI scrappers (now estimated to account for >1/4 of Web traffic) are contributing to a more closed Web: in an era when thousands of AI startups run their own crawlers, sites are either hammered by poorly behaved bots... [1/2]

In his recent article (cacm.acm.org/opinion/does...), Vint Cerf wonders whether AI represents a paradigm shift in the way software developers (and others) work. Spoiler alert, he believe it does. Jobs in new disciplines (like prompt engineering, vibe coding testing, etc) will emerge as ...[1/2]

Hello world! After >14y on Twitter, I’ve come to feel that, in its current state, it no longer offers me the joy it once did. Most of the interesting voices I used to follow are now on BlueSky (sometimes exclusively). Hence, from now on, I'll also start using this platform for sharing my thoughts.
