Even now though, who knows? Something in the human spirit says "don't surrender desire, fight! Live!" yet plenty of wisdom cultivated far longer than I've been a brain that says, "no, that is a foolish cycle you must break from to achieve enlightenment" --ofc that's a gross oversimplification

The question specially appealed to me as someone born with a brain that automatically re-absorbs serotonin upon production; resulting in a person who literally could not hold onto the experience of happiness -- that's what SSRI's are for (Deep depression 'til I was prescribed them at 26).

A billion people think they have the answer, but in all our thousands of years of history we haven't found one that truly, provably, does. I got one of my degrees in Philosophy, largely, to pursue this question and the obvious result is of course that we still have no one answer.

Finally pursuing a diagnosis for my chronic pain after 7yrs It took forever to find someone who takes my insurance Today they spent 2 minutes prodding me in the exam room, asked me basically no questions, and prescribed a sleep aid + exercise... US healthcare.

put an uplifting or anti-hate sticker somewhere, tear down a racist flag when no one's looking, clean/scrape away fascist symbols or graffiti or whatever. Argue with your family, educate yourself on how people have effectively resisted, live a little rebel!

There are many larger, more heartbreaking, downsides to fibro... like the loss of self, future, work, activity, health, experiences, etc etc but one that's PARTICULARLY annoying me right now is that there is simply NO comfortable way to read a book. Every position hurts my neck, wrists, or back😠

I know it's more for the people left behind, but at funerals I don't like the idea of being buried in an expensive suit... give 'em a cushy pillow and a nice blanket. Maximum cozy. Ideally everything biodegradable, maybe a bunch of seeds and plant nutrients in there
