Sadly, Ada Yonath passed away. Her work on the ribosome was extraordinary. I was fortunate to hear her speak at Lindau in 2013, and her curiosity and courage stayed with me ever since. I rendered this ribosome in her honor, a tiny tribute to a remarkable scientist. #ribosome #sciart
