It's been a long time since I stayed the night somewhere out of town. I didn't expect it to be so stressful for me, but next time will be easier now. I won't be at Fang like I originally planned, but I got to hang with some really cool people. I feel happy with what I've accomplished ♥️

Building on @marrowhyena.bsky.social's recent video, I don't like when furries only post on twitter or bsky. Yeah, you get seen, but they're so bad for browsing what an artist has drawn, or even what's all out there in the fandom. You just don't see a lot on these sites vs social galleries like FA.

sometimes they say what you need to hear without really knowing

a comic drawn in ink and watercolor:

a red coyote sits at a table, beer in paw, with some friends, including a blue raccoon.

the coyote is nervously thinking to itself, "How do I know if my friends really like me?"

it floats in midair as it further dissociates, "Is any of this even real?"

it is snapped out of its trance by a call, "Hey!"

Someone from Smitizen reached out to gauge my interest in licensing Vere's design. I told them I'm not interested and not to use him or my art in any way. I'm posting it purely so we are all on the same page moving forward. Has anyone else been contacted by them before?

A screenshot of three notes from furaffinity.net detailing a professional exchange between someone by the name Heyu from the Chinese-based silicone gear manufacturer, Smitizen, and Vere the bat.

Heyu asks Vere if he is interested in negotiating a licensing deal, and Vere declines the offer, stating Vere is too personal and is an extension of himself, and mentions reputational concerns with Smitizen. He asks for Smitizen not to use his character or artwork in any way, and Heyu agrees Smitizen will not.
