This is such a reasonable deal, gotta respect the agent, too. My biggest fear for the upcoming season is, well... they all have to eat offensively. DP, a rook of this caliber, you gotta set him up for potential ROTY, that is just how the cookie crumbles. Laurie deserves a big year.

Big Oof! So the Trib has a guy straight out of college on the Jazz beat now (maybe he's great idk!) & the DN laid off Sarah Todd!? Was easily the best writing they ever had since i've been a fan...which is, like, not that much of an accolade obv lol. Well, the guy that went to DET was alright, too.

So it's this guy again, Max Knouse... i remember he is somewhat involved with the Califone guys. "Mint and Tobacco" was my fav song last year if i think about it. He reminds me a bit of Twain? Anyways, just saw he has an album out and there's some lovely songs on it!

Mark just said it at the other... place, idk why i was there, i don't think many people have realized that yet nor did media cover this well: Kessler's contract, that is the post LAL/UTA negotiations number, the Jazz used the leverage they had and enticed the Lakers with better conditions.

Under vacuum, this is a neat deal for the Jazz. But you go from a functionally complete and balanced team to having a glarring hole in times of shortended windows & i don't like the options. Spend half of the haul and more for a B- solution? Our best pick in the next draft goes elsewhere already.

One thing that worries me a bit about this team... there are so many players that want to eat offensively, gonna be a real challenge for Hardy aswell as a test of character for the team. There is always the possibility that this turns into a healthy process for the guys, but it is not easy.

Kinda sad tho that so many of the international prospects leave home for the NIL money instead of getting minutes in the domestic leagues against professionals. Good for them obv (no sarcasm), elsewhere the sport just does not generate the money. Might lead to more streamlined skillsets?
