I'm feeling a lot of different emotions right now. My mom passed away this afternoon. I was not in contact with her at the end, but my heart is broken for my boys. Send vibes, prayers, pasta, smudge, or whatever you have to help the boys through this. Love you all.

Mumzy is mopping the house. Nezumi is having a bit of fresh air away from the wet floors. He would wish you a happy Caturday, but he is cleaning the wet from freshly steam cleaned floors from his fur. (No one asked him to roll in it.)

I'm still plugging away on the Pembroke Scarf. This one definitely requires the progress marker. It never feels like I've gotten anywhere. 🧶

Striped asymmetrical scarf/shawl. Almost 17 inches long, still being knit. Self striping fingering weight yarn in red, purple, pink, lavender, and black. A little black kitty on a lobster claw clasp used as a progress keeper.

I use bone conduction or "air conduction" only. I've never been happier than wity my shokz (for extended use)or my Jlab flex open clip for short-term use. Those live in my purse for disassociating in crowded environments.

The fella is still on a flip phone. It's a very sturdy I-could-probably-drive-over-it type flip phone, but still a flip phone. When he needs an app for work or anything else, he uses my tablet. He is quite happy without the technology.

It's certainly starting lovely! I made 2 mistakes while knitting at work @ regular intervals. It's a pattern now. Original pattern is Pembroke Scarf, color is Urth Uneek 3005 #ShowMeYourKnits

Self striping yarn knit up partially into an asymmetrical shawl. Colors are black, red, gray, light pink, lavender, and hot pink. So far!

I've been struggling with my grip from the before times. The mojo is here, but I still have wonky stitches and occasionally drop the needles when I think I have a firm grasp. I just bought 2 balls of big box yarn for my hot water bottle cover. I'll do my best, and hope my best looks a bit better.

Stash dive complete for #skyKAL I found a skein of Wonderland Yarns in the Mary Ann base, Shadow Spells: Pick Your Poison. Shades of blue with black and purple pops of color. It looks like their Nightshade color, but I don't see that marked on the label.

Finally wrestled the first fingerless elbow length mitts from the kiddo to match up the thumbs and match everything up. They are done. I'll add pictures once I can peel them off him again or get him to model for me.

I use a Nivava light. Soft, lightweight, and excellent adjustability. I also have a glocusant, but it's heavy and not as easily adjusted. It's for power outages now. It holds an excellent charge! Both are great.

My youngest turns 20 today, his last of the in-between years of teen and adult. It is such an odd, happy, sad feeling. We almost lost him @ 3 weeks to a partially sealed aorta. Then he became entirely too bright, too fast. His "high functioning" label came at 9. Through all of that, he's my baby.

I have a sweater planned. Also, some sock weight fingerless mitts. I will likely do the mitts first. Jonny got me some yarn on Nov 6th to cheer me up. I still have to slog through the last bit of poncho. And I would like to knit myself a hat from the yarn scraps from gift knitting. 🫠
