No I just save the data as binary! With how the car controller works I only need the transform of the car and 2 floats for throttle and steer, so it’s very light weight

I can now have replays of my best moves in our game. Doesn't look like it but I'm not touching the keyboard in the recording. ALSO I was able to optimize the file size for the replay: 10min of gameplay will cost you about 3mb ! 🚗🇧🇷 #Godot

I honestly didn't even know we could do that ! If it works and you don't have any window in your screen you don't want the viewer to see I'd say this is a great solution. If you only want to share certain windows instead, here are extensions you could use for this. | v

For now my only trusted server is matrix.org so the owner decides which servers he trusts. I haven’t really looked at what gets replicated and what doesn’t but the messages are encrypted end to end anyway.

I spent the whole evening setting up a matrix instance on my server and it's now alive ! I'm gonna test this for a while and see if it could replace Discord eventually. Also testing out the different clients available... #matrix

I was gonna try self-hosting a matrix server (discord alternative) on my server before going to sleep. That was before I saw the amount of configuration it needed before being ready. I'm gonna choose sleep I think.
