Richard Tice's "defence" may be the most spectacular own goal of the year. Nothing says "anti-establishment" like 50-year family ties to aristocrats and a £500,000 donor. 🤨 The revolution will, apparently, be funded by the aristocracy. 👇😆

ANOTHER possible sighting of a 1990s Spring-heeled Jack?! A contributor who wishes to remain anonymous sent me this experience that has haunted them for nearly 30 years, after hearing what Michelle saw in the latest #UncannyColdCases Case Update episode. Can we make sense of it, #UncannyCommunity??

He's very tall, Mexican, dark hair, sort of a 1980s mullet haircut. Wears aviator shades, obese, big smile.

He's called Delgado. One one hand he's a religious family man. On the other, he's a narcissist, and his ego is driving the whole thing.

It's about a serial killer supposedly terrorising the region... But something isn't quite right with the lead detective. He might be chasing someone innocent...

While I'm good at switching between multiple projects, sometimes the changeover takes a few days... For the past two weeks I've been mentally living in late 1960s Kensington. Before that, it was three weeks in 2000 Westminster. Now I have to return to 1985 Los Angeles. #writingcommunity

I'm so excited to receive my proof copy today. The book probably still needs a lot of work - those rogue typos always pop out in print and I've already got an idea I want to slip in. But it will be cool to see it in book form for the first time.

Fellow authors, what would you do? 5 years ago, I released a book. Few people bought it & I struggled to drum up interest. I shelved 45k words of sequel material. But I still love the story & the characters. Should I continue? It's a lot of work for just my own enjoyment. #writingcommunity

Really important piece from @itvnewspolitics.bsky.social on a topic that's been overlooked for too long: outcomes for white working class kids in places like where I grew up have - for too long - been dreadful. This Labour government is doing something about it. youtu.be/yFQ4JEBowzU?...

Lost Highway - NightCrawl Rafael, the shady character the novel revolves around, is a drifter who aimlessly drives the streets of Los Angeles. Though you might argue HMT/No10 has dragged its feet and isn’t willing to spend enough it’s also worth remembering that deficiencies in Britain’s defence spending/capabilities did not start with this Labour govt- not that you’d know it listening to a lot of the commentary today.
