As we head towards another new year be proud of your accomplishments this year, no matter how big or how small they seem, they are all equally important! Try not to judge what you’ve achieved against what others have done because your achievements are personal to you and yours to be proud of 🫶

It's been a bit of a rollercoaster holiday so far. Today is the quietest day I've had in the past week so I thought I'd check in on Bluesky a bit before diving into a game. One thing I love about video games is how they let us escape into another world, even if it's just for a little while.

I would say that I’m fully surprised by this left-field announcement But I then remembered that it was leaked on the Epic Game Store database alongside Turok, FF16 and a certain other unannounced FF title that was leaked there and among NVIDIA’s leak Alas, this is still cool

It's December 20th so that means we're 3 months away from being able to play one of the best open world RPGs ever created on the Switch. ✨ #Xenoblade Fun fact: There's no fall damage in Xenoblade Chronicles X so you can jump off cliffs to your heart's content!

Happy 37 years to the game that started it all. Final Fantasy. Damn I can’t imagine being SquareSoft back then and not knowing the crazy amount of fans and critical acclaim they’d receive after this game released then all the good games to follow it leading to now 16 mainline games in the series. ❤️✨

This is so real. People think it's as simple as lifting the bare bones of CT, but it ain't enough. Chrono Trigger is a collaboration of several titans in the industry, you can't just copy it by lifting a few things. You need top everything to even come close.

Another exciting thing about a new Okami and Onimusha is Capcom is definitely listening when people ask them to bring back old IPs. I think it's only a matter of time until a new Breath of Fire and Dino Crisis come. Definitely the biggest 2 left I think.

Now that I've slept on it I can say this was the best Game Awards ever. The Yakuza team and the creator of Shadow of the Colossus revealed new projects and they look cool as hell. Capcom had a new Onimusha game too, remasters for the other games soon? But OMFG Okami is getting a sequel!! Can't wait!

This is such an important detail. I know some don't like him because of his Twitter trolling but Hideki Kamiya has always been a brilliant game designer and he's finally getting to make the sequel he's been wanting to make 20 years later. It's one of the biggest reasons why I'm so excited for this!

My PlayStation 2024 Wrap Up I did a Yakuza binge this year so I'm not surprised by most played. I played the PC version of Yakuza 7/Like a Dragon this time, otherwise that would've probably beat Yakuza 5. Pretty happy with my results. Glad FFXVI managed to get in there too.

Post a character you love, and tag 5 people to do the same I choose Miles Edgeworth. His reactions make me laugh considering how serious he can be. Not going to tag, anyone is free to do this.

Miles Edgeworth from the video game series Ace Attorney. He's a man in a red suit featuring a white jabot. He has grey hair and he's standing with his arms crossed.

I'm playing Trails in the Sky again (with the JP voices mod) before finally more of the series next year. Hearing some of the differences between the script and dialogue made me realize what a great localization this had. Especially for Estelle. #TrailsintheSky #SoranoKiseki #Kiseki #Falcom #JRPG

A giant body of water can be seen with a two small docks connected to the land on the right. Sprite art of a girl holding a fishing rod while sitting on the lower dock. A dialogue box with the name Estelle and the like "What should I do now?" can be seen below the sprite. From the video game Trails in the Sky.

A bunch of sprite art can be seen in an isometric classroom environment. From the video game Trails in the Sky.
