as someone who loves oot, im happy with what they showed for the remake so far as it seems like itll be a faithful recrwation of the original, but 35 mins and only showing oot is a wild notion for a direct we got the movie release date (no trailer), a bunch of zelda hardware, and a concert

on july 6th, 2025 i began playing trails to azure. bc life, i put it on hold but as of last night i rolled credits on the end of the crossbell arc (<1 yr 🤣). i have now played every game from sky to cs2 im gonna put some thoughts below so spoilers but feel free to ask me for any specific thoughts!

ive been thinking about what the oot remake will do with dungeons/bosses forest and spirit temple are some of my fave dungeons of the series, so seeing them get a modern take would be awesome. whether it be a recreation or a new take with the same vibe same for bosses like volvagia and barinade

everytime im like ok im gonna make progress in pokopia rn, i always get so sidetracked trying to fix and rebuild each area. i went on an ash removal binge in the second area and ive been constantly rebuilding the roads and bridges in the third area

managed to solo AT ark in mh wilds in 30 mins and man what a hunt. wish i remembered to get a screenshot but by far hes the best fight in the game and probs the best AT between worldborne and wilds. and thats coming from someone who loves AT velk. AND GOD HIS THEME IS SO GOOD TOO

been busy this past week with finalizing semester grades for my college class i taught, but have managed to get some good hunts in and roll for the new weapons. really fun fight (although the flying phase is def not for me) and happy to see him so well translated! excited for AT jin next week too!

watched the jjk movie tonight and was little disappointed with what we got content wise. despite that though, watching a full crowd (me and my friend included) erupt in laughter to yuji saying "i currently have 15 fingers inside of me" is def a top cinema moment for me

i got shiny charm in za last night and finished all research missions. With that Ive 100% ZA pre-dlc so here are my thoughts i had a lot of fun and enjoyed the majority of the NPC characters (except urbaine/taunie). the new megas were also pretty good design wise plus the music was amazing!

as much as i wanted abyss, xillia is an excellent tales of game nonetheless and im happy to see it get some love. shocked that xillia 2 isnt included tho. if you havent played this entry yet and are a fan of the series, i recommend picking it up. def one of my faves storywise!
