These were really good posts explaining Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria I had to pull over On a personal level, this is one of my hardest things to deal with. Thankfully its not constant, and I've learned outward reactive regulation, but inside its still this, and sometimes the sad slips out >> 1/2

People with ADHD have what’s called Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD). It’s an extreme emotional response to perceived criticism or rejection.

Your brain can’t regulate the emotional pain, so a small comment feels like a devastating attack. A minor correction feels like total failure. Someone’s tone feels like hatred.
It’s not oversensitivity. It’s not being dramatic. Your brain literally can’t modulate the intensity of that emotional response.

It’s neurological, not a character flaw.

it feels like we get anxious over the strangest things. sometimes we’ll just think of someone, or maybe see a server we haven’t talked in much, and think, it’d be cool to talk to this person more/talk in that server more. but then we get worried we’ll seem weird or like we have a “motive”
