Gameoverse looks cool; and I like Kit's design, so I drew her. Hope this show gets green-lit soon! #Gameoverse @glitchprod.com

Happy #PortfolioDay! I'm Velaquant, a 24-year-old watercolor artist (with digital art experience) in north Mexico. I'm not taking commissions right now, but I'd love to work as a concept artist or character designer in other indie projects! (Past experience: CRiTORA)

I'm thinking about reviving the following CRiTORA characters for Quant Nexus, so you don't have to worry about their absence... [Thread, all art by DDB]

With the series' 10th anniversary coming up, let me highlight some of the strangest inspirations I took for some of my now-retired CRiTORA designs... (don't worry, some will return as Quant Nexus characters!) [Thread, all art by DDB]

Of all things you can hear me babble about buying, you probably wouldn't expect that to include vinyl soundtrack. And that of Katana ZERO, a game that I still believe is underrated despite its heavy (and I mean, HEAVY) story. But the music is an absolute blast.

Taking advantage of the NSO trials, I decided to give Hello Kitty Island Adventure a go... and today, with birthday money, I decided to buy it! I'm loving being a xolo. :3 #HelloKittyIslandAdventure

Ditto, near a water body, the Gudetama attempts to resist sliding into ramen.

Ditto, with the axolotl wearing Kuromi-inspired clothes and the Gudetama peeking out of an eggshell.

Ditto for the axolotl, but it has no clothes on. For reference purposes. Suffice to say that it matches Sanrio's art style and most of the characters (bar Hello Kitty herself) don't often wear too many clothes.

During my free time, I'm working on a history video for Wonder Pets! explaining the history of the show and other fun facts about the series that some may have not heard of.

[Curtains] One more month until the 10th anniversary of CRiTORA's earliest iteration (as the Avey comics - released November 10, 2016). It's unlikely that I will have the time or energy to do something massive for it, but I will celebrate that day regardless. :) #DaydreamingBirdieArt #CRiTORA

Just as I remembered the Amateur Surgeon games (was obsessed with them back in 2018, I must confess), I remembered the time one person did a massive coordinated attack in all my social networks at the time, telling me to "leave", "go away", and draw hate art of my persona.

Now that I retook Neo Cab, an interactive novel about a human driver in a city overridden with AI taxis... did the message come in too early? (the game launched in 2019)

Logotype of Neo Cab (2019), featuring the text in a round, futuristic font, and the graphic of an eye with a map pin instead of a pupil. The iris has a shine that makes it look like a moon, matching how the game is set at night.

I know I said I need a break, but... As I build my scrapbook, I'm finding gems from the distant past, most which are fragments of memories I thought were lost forever. I never had any of the original Fijit Friends, but I used to collect them.

A colored page from the most-likely-now-defunct Fijit Friends website. It features, from top to bottom: Sage (leaf antennas), Willa (insectoid antennas), Logan (spoiler-like antennas) and Serafina (wing-like antennas) dancing and rocking around a rainbow. They're colored properly, though the uneven filling and harsh strokes hint at the fact I had yet to turn 13 when I colored this.
The hearts and some flowers were left blank.

A frame from the now-defunct Fijit Friends website, featuring Willa, a pink Yippit (don't remember her name), and three Newbies (Mia, Tila, and Kenzie, if I remember their names right). The top of the frame is pink with flowers and hearts, while the bottom is sky-blue, almost Frutiger Metro-like.

I NEED A BREAK. I can't withstand seeing the same conflict every day on my feeds. Here's the harsh truth you're ignoring: both human artists and people who use AI ads ARE BUILDING THE SAME EXACT DYSTOPIA. I've said myself, what matters most about a tool is how you use it.

Scrapbooking makes my heart feel like a fire pit...

A lot of scraps grouped together on a desk. Among the sheets are BTS Photocards and postcards, Skylanders cards, used-up gift cards... whew, so much that I can't even tell thing by thing.

I can't believe I just opened my eyes to another metaphor describing ARMS' current status: a winter that seems eternal. Which is curiously ironic, because there is neither a winter-themed fighter nor a snowy stage. Further amplifying my theory of the game happening in a summer of 2017...
