My wife was nearly blind and had to wait 2 years for cataract surgery. A private clinic offered to do it immediately for thousands of dollars. In Ont. Ford takes transfers and hands that to for profit private contractors. Extra billing does happen albeit in sneaky way. I've paid it more than once.
