people need to take initiative, especially when it's backed by science. because yeah, we can hold corporations accountable. but we can also be the millions of physical hands on deck that are there to do things a formless entity cannot do or reach. and that's being present in our communities.

the origin of human-made dams and the eventual back-tracking is an interesting phase of american history while some dams promote energy/water supply and transportation, overall it's a lesson that hoarding natural *resources does not work!* recommend vids of before/after rupturing a damn! v cool
