Just did an airbrush test for the Death World Forest which will be the base of my Raptors army. I’m reasonably happy with the results. After eighteen months exclusively painting Epic scale, I’m relearning 28mm mould lines and how to make sure they’re *all* off.

Sitrep on the abandoned Iron Warriors Termite/Big Digger diorama. I got the base primed (for the most part) and did some detail on the ruins, superglued the Termites and the Dystopian Wars drill and then PVA glued more beach sand around the bases. 1/2.

Sitrep: The derelict Iron Warriors Termites are drying as is their sandy diorama base. Of course, I’ve included an old Dystopian Wars mega tunnelling machine because the Iron Warriors would always want to be bigger. I wanted the hazard stripes to be messy and decaying, I hope that look comes through

I’m playing with some rusty dribbling effects on these armour plates as a test for the scheme I want to use on the shell of my Dark Mechanicum Spiderbots for #LegionsImperialis. The white is sponge painted over a Zandri Dust primer to give the faded and textured feel I had in my head.
