I understand. As a user of all the Apple Pro apps and what was iWork. I had to check if they changed the offering 😅 Thankfully Final Cut, Motion, Logic etc + Pages, Keynote, Numbers are still available outside of the Apple Creator Studio subscription, with extra features requiring a subscription.

Do you have an iPhone 11 or newer, or iPad released in 2021 or later that you are not using? Amiberry emulator developer MiDWaN is willing to bring his Amiga emulator to iOS (and trust me, he delivers — we worked with him to fix 30+ year old emulator scaling issues) but needs a test device. DM me!

I re-made Glider some years back for MacOS/iOS. It broke at some point (perhaps an Apple change for Retina displays?) so I pulled it from the App Store. (Claude looked at the code—found some minor coordinate issues. Thanks!) Glider Classic for MacOS is back on. apps.apple.com/us/app/glide...

I discovered that my DIY Fusion Drive wasn’t supported any more and it was the reason for several failed Sequoia installs, so I needed to split the drives via terminal. Just make sure to have an external keyboard and mouse for the initial install if it’s a 2008/9 generation MacBook.

OpenCore Legacy Patcher. It downloads MacOS installers, patches them and creates bootable installer disks. From then onwards system updates function as expected. I’ve used it on many old Macs to great success for years. Could have upgraded as far as Sequoia. dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Leg...

Functional although slow for anything too heavy. Quick benchmark: Photos takes 3 to 5 bounces to launch Calendar 3 bounces. Music 12 bounces.

I’d be curious to see how a preference for frame interpolation could smooth the typical key frame heavy QTVR with added in-between frames. It could enhance the ease in and out effect. As much as I’d never use motion smoothing on my TV, this might be the best use case ever! Cool project Dustin.
