To be honest, as someone who spent half their childhood in AL, this isn't surprising. AL has some of the highest taxes (state + sales, including groceries), is one of the poorest states, and has a LOT of truckers. They're getting hit on all sides. I can't imagine trump is popular by any means.

Rewatching Buffy and it strikes me how much I hate Joyce. Watching how she treats Buffy, how she chooses everyone over her, never believes her, then when she finds out who she is says "have you tried not being the slayer". She's the kind of mom that is ok with gays until they're her kids.

I just found out that my student loans are going from 50 to 300 a month 😃 This is awesome! It's gonna make a paycheck that had allowed me to pay all my bills and save a small amount completely inadequate. So now, despite working FT I'll have to get a second job. But hey, at least we owned the libs 😃

We are so back! A custom garnet and pearl rosary that has been fun and challenging. I love when people give me colors and leave the rest to God (me)

A half completed rosary made with garnet multi faceted coin shaped beads surrounded by tiny real pearls as the hail Marys and fresh water pearls as our fathers. There's a big freshwater pearl as the linking charm and an ornate silver cross. The findings are all stainless steel

I love getting a costco rotisserie chicken. Ate all the dark meat while fresh. Made curry chicken salad with the white meat. Bones, skin, and fat has been simmering for about 4 hours with some other veg scraps and some seasonings. So many meals off 5 bucks

I've been eating a lot of tofu lately. I think I'm going to simplify my lunches for the next few weeks by doing medium boiled eggs, tofu, rice, and assorted veg (obviously all will be seasoned/marinated). Super easy to make, super tasty
