My grandparents recipe that I make every year and love <3

Recipe for bacon and lentil soup:
For 4
2 chicken stock cubes
1 large onion, diced -or- 1 leek, chopped
Large knob of butter
3 sticks of celery chopped
1 cup of lentils washed in cold water
2-3 rashers of bacon
Mixed herbs and spices

Put a large knob of butter in a saucepan on low heat and sauté the leek/onion

Prepare the stock, 2 chicken stock cubes in 1 litre of water

Pour in enough stock to cover the leek/onions and leave to heat through, don't simmer

Add the rest of the stock and chopped celery and rinsed lentils and stir, bring to the boil

Trim the fat and chop the rashers into small squares and add to the saucepan, leave to simmer and stir occasionally

Simmer for around 45mins to an hour

Take off the heat and whizz completely with the hand mixer

Share a horror movie that isn't talked about enough 🎥😱🖤 The Painted bird, a harrowing tale reminiscent of Come and See and Ivan's Childhood, an amazing film.

Throwback to an awesome and super horny piece with and by @gorilladrama.bsky.social that I think about very often. A lot of pets have worn the PA ring collar, not many last long before they are claimed by the monster they're chained to, the temptation too high, its proximity makes it inevitable..

A small, caged, pink bear with a shocked and timid expression is wearing a solid ring collar chained to a similar looking PA ring to a ginormous set of pierced equine genitals attached to an anthro draft horse, shown from the portly belly down
