The bizarreky deep lore will pull you in despite having so many losses early on. Like why is the evil transcendent lightning man in a toxic yaoi relationship with a man who may or may not literally be John Carpenter's The Thing

I was a little edgelord of a teen so I laughed my way through lots of horror films. While not technically a "horror" movie, I think I'll never be able to get Precious (2009) out of my psyche. Absolutely bone chilling and horrendously well made.

My goal is to finish by Mid November which I feel is really reasonable? I'm loving it and the songs replay in my head all day. I dont want it to end faster, that's wild to abandon life just to play any game.

I wonder if Toriyama ever commented on an actual process. He talked about how DB fights always took place in wastelands because he hated drawing backgrounds. It was his kittle chest code for staying on schedule.

2e stuff flows well even with little gray areas. Society has little small rulings and we adjudicate as needed. I am eternally grateful for not having to print out captioned screenshots of videos to tell people that a Paizo employee they don't know on any level said it runs this way.

Dietrich's hard mode maps are so fun. The tiny fielding roster means every unit matters and you gotta actually plot out spaces and who can take a hit and hold off on death's door.

1 second that felt like 10 years. I have too many people I care about to abandon them like that. Even if I'm not critical to their lives, I don't want to be cursed by thoughts of what I could have done for them.

Honestly the most damning for me ks TheGamer. Having (unfortunately) worked for the parent company, the reviewers get paid pennies and per click so them *not* having a high or low score makes me think they genuinely don't care about the game at all.

I always try to remember that at one point, there were likely less than 10,000 people in the entire planet and we somehow survived that. We face unprecedented and horrifying future issues but we're damned resilient. My last years may be rough but I'll do everything I can to make my Nieces' better.

I think TTRPG culture as a whole has a lot of the "Dudebro 'Friend' group" issues, where groups are only friends because they tolerate each other but at least one person is a dedicated punching bag while they generally just don't actually like one another. That shared disdain carries over to TTRPG.

As a Day 1 Kamala and Miles person, Secret Wars (2015) installed a deep hatred for Marvel editorial in me. Both of their opening series that had *barely* gotten started, completely upended to serve this damn crossover event. They were never the same afterwards 😮‍💨

League would be a lot more fun if it was a WC3 style single player game ironically. It being a game with just no real "chill" game mode, always pvp, always online makes it was less interesting when the designs ans characters have some juice to them generally

He's always been terrible at writing women, writing as a whole is his weakest trait. His movies have very eye catching visuals and phenomenal actors that make them so massively popular and memorable. I do think her comment on lumping non-black actors into the "black best friend" trope was tone deaf.

That's just capitalism. Paizo makes effectively no money from AoN directly so they get downsized befoee the companies actively paying Paizo to get their products for sale. If something takes days/weeks ovef hours, that *is* a deterrent even if not fully effective

110

Varsuuvius @varsuuvius.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

AoN is a lot easier the scrape at once. The issue is websites, not individuals scraping it all. This lets copycats show up a lot easier and quicker.
