Also fuck "good game design". Shit got so safe lately it is boring. Bring back friction in games. Controversial mechanics. Make your castlevania-inspired game have Classicvania knockback stun. Have contact damage on enemies. Eschew genre norms. Have complicated controls. Let your devil speak to me.

Skeptical of Altstream tbh, as nice as it sounds, I need to know how exactly they are going to keep the servers up and what they're getting out of this. I also remember Altair, and that never made it out of Beta. I'll keep an eye on it, though.

I love that Warframe added the "Will Do Anything for Money" title to the game because it makes me really dedicated to the bit of having a clan named "Kleptomaniacs Anonymous." I can only imagine how many chuckles I have given other Tenno.

I just had the painful realization that base Limbo has the shortest build time in Warframe, requiring only 2 minutes total for the *entire* thing. Every piece, the frame whole-built included, is a quest-related item. Ergo... it is quick because of it. As a former Limbo main, that's funny af.

Banshee Rework is pretty alright; she's playable. Her Platform platystyle is basically locked-in, her 1 is pretty good as is now in both part due to its innate armor strip & her passive's max puncture stack effect with abilities. Her 4 is pretty good with the augment, idk about without it though.

Sorry, no, we live under capitalism and capitalism taints everything it touches. You do not get to be truly ethical if your goal is to be known online. You need to live with that. We can use this to do advocacy, to connect with each other, and to learn about the world but we can’t make it “good”

Sometimes I think people need to learn how to better critique games. Or just critique in general. It's not a critique if you're not giving points where you can. I hate VtM: Bloodlines 2 but it could've survived barely if it had a different title. FF 14 Is great but no skill trees means not for me

Trans women will never be free until people stop having strong emotions about penises. Like we, as a society, have got to stop caring about dicks! Dicks have to stop symbolizing maleness, obviously, but they also have to stop symbolizing power, dominance, sexual agency and aggression, violence, and even sex itself. Like trans women can't be free if the very conceptual presence of a penis represents an intrusion(!) of unwanted(!) sexuality(!) in public life.
Like that's why trans women are abhorrent to both male chauvinists and radical feminists, because both groups have extremely strong feelings about what a penis *represents*, and find the conceptual and actual presence of a woman with a penis to be simultaneously vile and nonsensical because they've loaded so much symbolic baggage onto both women and penises.
Anyway dicks are totally neutral body parts and seeing a dick, or a bulge in a swimsuit, or simply knowing that there's a dick somewhere in the same bathroom as you isn't harmful or violent

Betting Ravenwatch's next DLC hero is Enkidu. the Hint "A Wrestler who never goes down isn't wrestling," strongly hints that its a folk-legend who not only wrestled, but also lost, which Enkidu, friend of Gilgamesh and king in his own rite, would fit the spot. Still have more hints to come tho.

having the time of my life writing a sexy but messy trans girl/cishet guy mildly aro-leaning romance tbh. had a bunch of good editing conversations with my best friend about how to make it even better and listen I love my other cuties but Sky and Jamie is like "I'm gonna make this exist at any cost"

I like you, sky. I like that you're loud, and passionate. and that you care, so much, about everything. I like that you get carried away sometimes, because it means that you won't let anything stand in your way. I like that you have dreams, and that you'll do anything for the people you love, and that you always look for the most dramatic way to face your fears. I think you're fucking wonderful, okay?
