Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats are playing on Saturday apparently! I just saw Sleep last night. I have tickets for Author and Punisher on Sunday.... I don't think my body can handle going out this much after months of isolation. I'll see how I'm feeling later this week before getting tickets.

Okay, so Sleep was awesome! BUT... I find myself asking "when your band was 3 people and 2 of them are not part of the band anymore, is it really the same band?" And honestly, I've gotta say no. Was the new lineup good? Yes! But it wasn't quite Sleep. It was like the essence of Sleep. Snooze maybe.

Spent all last night and this morning installing a new video card, cleaning my cooling loop and swapping from hard to soft tube. Also ripped out every LED possible. I'm over the "gamer" look. I want a quiet black box that plays my games. That's it. Going to paint the glass black next and I'm done!

I have 4 blisters from sanding those itomaki all in places that make practice difficult/painful. Normally I'd be stubborn and push through it but I really need to let my hands heal instead of making them worse. A week off from practicing feels wrong but it's gotta be done! :<

Spent last night and this morning getting new itomaki (tuning pegs) prepared! My hands are DESTROYED from all the sanding to make them fit properly (up through 5000 grit) but man... Worth it. They're so pretty!... My lazy phone picture doesn't do them justice.
