Animation process steps for the 2nd part of this animation. At the time I kept thinking to myself, while animating the hand, "NEVER AGAIN." Well, today I feel like I wouldn't be as fussy about it. Likely because of antidepressants.

Production steps for the first part of this animation. Animated in #Krita

Made this captioned video a few years ago. Honestly, this animation project took me months and I kind of tortured myself doing it because torturing myself was just normal. I've been retraining my brain to do art-making more from a place of kindness and trust in myself.

Made this for @lord-azarael.bsky.social as a sincere show of appreciation. Thank you so much for your generous support. I didn't anticipate this character becoming this fun to draw but recommending a long white-haired male helps a lot.

It's been difficult for me to get into the flow during production for comic pages, and I still kind of get that way with other pieces of this project like illustrations and animations. I'm getting better, it's just tough for me to break old habits heheh.

I've been actively working on this sort of cognitive reframing around this project. Like, changing my internal dialogue from "How is your dream project not more complete than this yet?! You've had so much time!" to "This is so fun and I don't have to put so much detail in the comic pages"

I'm feeling better about the production of the comic pages themselves these days. I've been approaching it from a different angle, since for years I'd been approaching it more like a sort of slave driver perspective -- like I have to be harder on myself to get stuff done.

you have nothing to apologize for at all -- I want people to be honest with me and I don't want to try to change other people's behavior. I know you didn't intend for me to feel any sort of discomfort -- I really really appreciate you sharing your thoughts since they've been very helpful.

Really though, thank you so so much for sharing your kind thoughts. It's truly encouraging and inspiring to me. I really want to get to the point of just churning out a complete page every single day like it's no big deal. It takes me like up to 5 hours per page, but I get such bad art block with it

lol "many years ago" is like flattering but also embarrassing for me at the same time... I've been struggling so hard with my mental issues around the production of the graphic novel series. Which as you know, I'd been so eager to share with you guys.

Here's a doodly painting I started. I've been open for comms, I just haven't updated my sheets nor ToS but I plan to. I need your help though - please vouch for me by engaging with this post so that I can get an artist account on vgen. Thank you guys so much. vgen.co/vapourwraith #VGenCode

Here's another commission I did a few years ago for an old client and long-time supporter of my work. I think this character design is really cool. If you're interested in commissioning me, my project minimum is $150 USD for fully painted portraits. Contact me at lizbeth490021@gmail.com Tysm

alright so my kid started daycare the past week, but over the weekend got sick and is also going through some killer teething pain. He's also been impossible to get to sleep and keep down. I think I can churn out 2 comic pages in a day if he's at daycare for a full day. Hope that'll be soon.

Hey guys Sry for the inactivity. Just got busy with my other brand of stuff I'd been working on and prepping for a craft fair this weekend. The baby starts daycare next week but it's a gradual transition. So likely the week after next week, my posts should be far more regular again.

I've been busy with (happy) family stuff, catching up with art fight and other stuff, so my rhythm's been a bit interrupted. Good news is I got a daycare for my son starting in September. I'll be opening up for commissions, if anyone's interested. More details later. Tysm.
