DoorDash spent $1.4M trying to stop Zohran Mamdani from becoming mayor. This week's historic $131.5M enforcement action against DoorDash for underpaying NYC delivery workers shows why. Yet another reminder that the only thing that can beat organized money is organized people.

In a wage-theft settlement, DoorDash now has to pay its workers around 100 times what it spent trying to beat Zohran Mam

Some relationships start out great, but when one half of it can't take better care of themself, it falls apart in violent and volatile ways #petraparker #spiderwoman #spiderman #venom

Panel 1: my design of pre-transition Petra Parker (who I named Perrin) standing on Battleworld and seeing the Venom Symbiote on her for the first time. She holds a jagged black rock-like object with a sharp white spiral, the same colours as the symbiote she wears. The ground is green and dotted with large purple crystals. The mountains behind her are teal and topped with purple, while magenta rocks float in a hazy, speckled yellow sky. A black text bubble reads "Pet-- Please" with the end of the name scratched out.

Panel 2: Pre-transition Perrin squats on a gargoyle at night in the rain, looking over the city unmasked, bags under her eyes heavy. The Venom symbiote is talking to her with a concerned look on its face. The text continues; "you need to tell them".

Panel 3: Pre-transition Perrin stands half-nude in a circular Horizon Labs room shouting in pain and covering her ears as green sonic vibrations blast the screaming Venom symbiote off of her. The open window shows part of the city behind a whiteboard with sketches of a container for the symbiote and the Fantasti-Car on it. Behind Perrin is a desk with a drawing tabled on it, and the sonic vibrations are coming from a free-standing projector in the colours of The Shocker's uniform. The next continues again; "or I will".

Do not speak to the BBC if you are trans. Just don't do it. Tell them to go fuck themselves. Even if you know the reporter and they are not an ass, tell them to go fuck themselves anyway because they work for the BBC and their editors will do this regardless of the journalist's intent.

There was a small convention at my local library yesterday and I went as a certain wall-crawler #petraparker

A mirror selfie of a young adult white woman with brown hair in cosplay, wearing a white button-up shirt and black business-casual pants. Under the shirt is a red turtleneck with black lines on the cuffs and neck. She has a red beanie with web lines hanging out of the satchel over her shoulder, and carries a camera with the lens removed. She has a name badge reading "Hello my name is... Petra Parker", and is wearing glasses. Her hair is tied up at the back, and her white shirt is tucked in.

Y'all don't know how fast I drew this shit #petraparker #spiderwoman #spiderman #trans

A redraw of an infamous Spider-Man comic panel with my designs for Petra Parker, Mary-Jane Watson, & Felicia Hardy. The latter two are wearing Black Cat suits while the former lays in a hospital room with a slightly green-ish tint.

Top Panel: MJ on the right saying "That was horrible." Felicia on the left replies to her saying "Are you kidding? That was great." Both are looking down at the viewer.

Next Panel: MJ stands next to Petra's bed and asking "Hwo did she sleep through all of that?" Felicia is putting away Petra's Spidey suit and replying "Please. She-Hulk and I have been putting her through the wringer. Spider waking up on her own was the least of my worries.

Next panel: Petra waking up slightly, pushing her bangs off her face with a "SNRRKK. --huh? whu?"

Middle panel: MJ and Felicia looking at Petra from in front of her window with smiles. Petra says "oh. Okay" from off-panel.

Bottom panel: MJ looks at Petra with a raised eyebrow, both smiling in response to Petra saying "Is it Thursday already? Be gentle, please."

An illustration of my design for Petra Parker/Spider-Woman/trans girl Peter Parker; an athletic white woman with brown hair and hazel eyes in a mostly standard Spidey suit. She holds a satchel on her right shoulder and is half-standing sideways on a web outside a window in front of a city skyline with a pink-white-blue sky. Her mask is up to reveal her face, as her hair hangs due to gravity. She has a goofy grin.

This is who I think would or would not be transphobic to Petra Parker

Would never misgender her: Black Cat, Beetle, Big Wheel, Karn, Lizard, Morbius, Prowler, Rhino

Confused at first but doesn't take long: Anti-Venom, Boomerang, Kangaroo, Kraven, Mr Negative, Molten Man, Shocker, Silver Sable Venom, Spot

Corrects themself after misgendering: Demogoblin, Electro, Chameleon, Hydro Man, Kingpin, Morlun, Mysterio, Sandman, Scorpion, Scream, Toxin

Misgenders her: Black Tarantula, Doctor Octopus, Hammerhead, Hobgoblin, Spider Slayer, Tombstone, Vermin

Uses Slurs: Carnage, Doppelganger, Green Goblin, Jackal, Vulture

Okay perfect I can say this then. Watched the movie last week and then read Woman of Tomorrow. Even without AI slop, there was no hope of capturing the mesmerizing visuals depicted in Bilquis Evely’s art. But they could have at least tried to capture the depth of Supergirl’s character, her kindness.
