Researching to feed my Christmas lights autism at 6:00 AM let's GOOOOO. Turns out my perception of decor is trapped solidly between the 70s and 90s which isn't exactly shocking lol

Very, VERY glad I snagged the Sonic set including Trip's dragon form when I did :| paid $13, worth $20, scalpers want $65+. May every scalper be forced to sell at a loss and also shit the bed.

I don't show the twins online, but I'd like it known that sometimes when George is waiting for a treat, he looks like a kid trying his best at his first school picture day.

Wife has been reminded that I've somehow NEVER seen Independence Day and this is being remedied tonight.

They might wake me up too early on the weekend, but watching Lenny and George with their bone pile (an assortment of pom safe chewies) is always fantastic. So much munching!

Lenny and George are currently banned from tackling my wife, so they sit at the gate whenever they need to get clean and either whine (George) or stand on her hind legs and pray rapidly (Lenny). I love these two goobers so much.

Guys help I was ranting to my wife yesterday about how Slippy and Peppy are obviously a *frog* and a *rabbit* despite their last names, and they insisted that Peppy IS a hare >:C he's bnuuy. (I'm joking, they've been putting up with my space furry BS for weeks now)

Asio in 2005 vs 2026. My little mechanic has really gotten a glow-up! She's my sole Star Fox OC who I've apparently had for over 20 years holy crap.

Overheard a coworker telling a mocking story about (drumroll please): his nephew being excited about his birthday party. Let kids be happy over things holy shit dude. I'm betting the little guy would be heartbroken if he knew he was being made fun of to strangers.

Debating opening commissions again now that my FA account is once more visible because I forgot to reopen it a few years back. Def going to be retiring or redoing old YCHs and only offering those or badges, I think. Ref sheets and full comms eat up too much time and energy now.

Unrelated to anything, that TADC DVD project I'm playing with in the background really highlights how tough producing physical media can be. From not having a native DVD burner to DVD labels being super hard to find on top of home printers being a rip-off still.

No idea if bsky will actually show the animation but...my first 2026 Artfight attack, on my wife! I haven't animated something this complex in 15+ years and it's not perfect but having a TADC credits walk of Kintsu was an idea that wouldn't leave my head! @rapture.bsky.social

Wife and I only did one day of AC this year and it was pretty good! Accommodations were way better managed by staff this year and I'd never seen Kage opening the Den before. "If you cut in line, *everyone* here will take their frustrations out on you!" got my ass.

Also rambling bc my workplace can go fuck itself for its treatment of myself but especially my wife lately. OT destroys me physically and should never be mandatory. Also bosses without an understanding of disabilities are the fucking WORST

Jury is still out on Chapter 5 for me, but I've only seen a quick playthrough and still need to peek at the Weird Route. My personal playthrough is still stuck at Jevil and I never beat Spamton NEO oops. But...! (No spoilers ofc)

Fun Retro lore! I spent DECADES being terrified but also fascinated by media involving aliens, especially the greys, but never had any reason as to why that fear was there. Cut to about ten or so years ago when I saw a clip from Fire in the Sky and GUESS WHO SAW THAT WAY TOO YOUNG!
