in short: this may or may not be the best spider-man movie, that’s neither here nor there, but goddamn if it isn’t the most quintessentially spider-man and easily my new favorite (live action one, any...

inde navarrette… made this an instant classic. just an incredible performance. really good writing, and some fun cinematography and editing choices but that performance made this movie what it is to m...

the best stuff i saw this year. we did it joe! i still need to watch marty supreme…

“what are you afraid of?” “everything.” he’s just a little (big) guy :( i’m trying to be realistic about it because the first half was like aiiiight to me but that second half sorta hit me like a bull...

“vengeance is mine.” there’s like so much going on thematically but somehow also not enough? idk. what it probably comes down to is that i’m not really fond of the side characters in this one, besides...

dnf. i don’t know if a prequel to something like the hunger games is a very… compelling prospect, besides monetarily, because in my head there’s not much you can do with a prequel that has to align wi...

“you wanna walk with me a while?” devastating. predictable, maybe, but goddamn devastating. some of the best work i’ve seen in a while, especially from the actors. cooper hoffman and david jonsson, ob...

ugly art style and the fact that this should’ve been a movie aside… they COOOOOOOOOOOKED! they cooked so hard idea wise that i just wish they placed more importance on this cause it kind of just feels...

this movie is strikingly simple for as long as it is- but i’m not necessarily hating on that because it’s a blast to watch. the shots they managed to get in this thing… wow. truly tense, and really in...
