Sedin Family Foundation has supported Adopt-A-School since 2020, when the twins led a special fundraising campaign during the COVID-19 pandemic that raised $800,000 for children in need! Earlier this year, the Foundation also donated $126,000 to support rural schools in northern British Columbia.

Children living in poverty are more likely to miss school than others. Check and Connect Program is designed to encourage students to come to school early so they can be fed and tutored before classes start. The program asked $100,000 from our fund to provide breakfast for students in 30+ schools.
