I finally started a new job not quite three weeks ago. While that IS good news, I am feeling like my 56-year-old brain just can't absorb new information as quickly as it could 20+ years ago. I feel like a really slow, old computer with a hard drive full of useful information but requires patience.

I have to admit to being pretty desperate to get labor started at the end of my pregnancy almost 31 years ago, though not until I passed the 40 week mark. I just tried walking long distances along the foothills in Reno, though. I still ended up having to be induced at 42 weeks.

I hope he goes down in history as the worst Chief Justice ever. There have been a lot of individual shameful Supreme Court verdicts over the years, but I can't think of any Chief Justice who has caused as much as damage as him. The only good thing he has presided over was the Obergafell decision.

I agree that the GOP reps will eventually fall in line, but I'm glad that the Dems are throwing all the wrenches in the gears that they can. Given all the suffering that this bill will cause, I at least want the GOP to suffer as much as possible trying to hurt others.
