Vote & Vote DEMOCRAT BLUE all down the line, NO Republicans NO ex-Republicans suddenly campaigning Democrat Blue! Just know that fascist, right-wing, Trumpamagalon regime violence is very likely AND that voting is not going to end this mess.

Make sure you VOTE and vote DEMOCRAT BLUE all down the line regardless of any threats. Violence is the last thing we want, but even if the people win the vote in BLUE, hard sacrifices will still be required to END this fascist garbage mess of a regime & rout the criminal cronies out of power.

Wikipedia's entry on Rahm Emanuel has various sections on some of the more controversial points in his career, including Freddie Mac, the Laquan McDonald shooting and the election of the time, his attitude towards Israel-Palestine, the kinds of Congressional candidates he has recruited/supported.

This is one of a few hotels that have been Colorado projects for producing homes for the unhoused.

Oh yeah, as someone just reminded me, there's also that entirely unignorable ceramic art deco table statue of 2 lovers in a passionate embrace that I used to have fun displaying prominently, with certain visitors....until wagging tails broke it too many times. It was something similar to this:

It's best to be very skeptical and even suspicious of whatever OpenAI et tal say about such breakouts or supposedly unintentional breakouts, break-ins, & other inappropriate acts committed by their AI agents. BTW, how do you 'punish' an AI?

Raccoons are clever little creatures and we have lots of them here. I've never heard of these ones before, though. I also learned something funny about dolphins in the NYT article, although maybe the pufferfish aren't laughing.

Through hordes of overeager, violent thugs & pseudo-mafia cronies in charge, the Trump regime is violently carrying out its own internal illegitimate policies against whomever it wants to get rid of. They planted these seeds of violence & now they are picking what was allowed to fester & grow.

Cats add so much to my life as do dogs. The difference is that dogs are far more motivated to please & to earn their keep as working companions, while cats simply either love you or don't! In my experience, cats love people who respect them & care for their well-being. Cats can also love dogs!

In addition to a huge home library of a few thousand volumes filling the walls of my home, as a shutterbug I also had a darkroom. I grew up in times when handwritten letters were common & cherished like 'gifts'. My life-long habit of nearly daily journaling in beloved notebooks was rather common.

Like many pro-social, healthy things good for the people and good for Earth, climate & clean energy legislation fare better in blue. What kind of state, what kind of world - do you want?

It's a travesty that so many without decent means are stuck in this severely compromised system. It's even worse for those who truly are innocent of charges, especially as cases of mistaken identity are far higher for black & brown people than for whites. There ought to be other avenues of action.

I saw this blast from the past on Quora. What struck me was the rosy assumption that it was due to 'pure kindness'. When I run into such idealistic reasoning, I'm prone to wondering how young the person is. Follow the money, especially in business & politics. The masses did happily benefit though.

Just a gas price pic from yesterday, so they can't say it didn't happen. Keep in mind that all kinds of other products & services are more costly too because of high energy costs. WHO voted for all this idiotic, problematic crap bothering the whole world? Stupidity sucks for everyone.

Local gas prices over USD $5 lately- Portland, Oregon USA

A collage by a friend of mine who is an art hobbyist. He's been a chef in fine establishments, but one day he decided to dabble in painting and started painting beautiful copies of master works, then painting his own works, then experimenting with other art. I envy his ease with lovely creations.

Pete Hegseth claims US 'Department of War', actually the US Department of Defense, should win the Nobel Peace Prize every year. Trumpamagalon is hell bent on invading & enslaving other countries, killing lots of people, destroying people, cultures, & infrastructure, & robbing them blind. PEACE???

I get it now, this post leaves out the context. It is a reference to what Todd Blanch said in a presser on January 30th, when he basically quoted the law on the matter, which, by the way, they only half complied with because they exposed names of victims. As referenced by PBS 21 November 2025:
