I'm glad. I just worry when people get into the "fixing" us language because doing things differently or having different struggles doesn't make us broken and can really harm us in the long run and since I assumed you loved your grandson I figured you wouldn't intentionally hurt him that way.

If it's frustrating him and he wants to change it I think it's fine. But often it's frustrating because other people only except communication as "communicates my way"

Thanks for explaining what you meant. As a grandmother I'm sure you know that even without verbal communication we communicate, how is it different than expecting someone to learn a new language so you don't have to learn theirs? I'm sure you love your grandson, he doesn't need a cure just acceptanc

I'm tired of reading history. It's so interesting but big see too many patterns, I see flashbacks to cult teaching, and premonitions of a future that didn't learn from history and I can't do anything about any of it so it's just depressing.
