Eye opening. I had such naïveté about who our country is. Heritage wants us all to embrace the propaganda taught in the schools of my childhood. They don’t want anyone to talk about the truth. We need that process Tutu made in S Africa, but they won’t do it.

This is incredibly important. I feel deeply that curbing sexual violence will come from raising social expectations of men, not from ‘educating’ them. I fear this is an unpopular view, because people are afraid to face up to the scale of the issue.

Good Monday! All this rain is great for recharging the aquifer and wells. But yes, I’m using more dry shampoo. Have to get dressed, but not the full glam. My priorities are so different than 20 years ago. Hmmm, tarantulas should be coming out about now. Fun!
