I see no reason Ireland wouldn't want to join Schengen; the additional rights of the CTA could continue to apply. It's the UK who won't join, and in fairness it would be complicated due to the other members of the CTA like the Isle of Man & Channel Isles.

My place has plenty of good women engineers, including a few mid-level tech leads (my level or one above). We HAVE had women as head of engineering, but not right now and we've always generally lacked women in senior technical leadership positions (architect level).
