Thanks to the generosity of our community, Tiny was able to receive the surgery she needed to remove her bladder stones. Tiny is now recovering safely at home with Lyon, where she can get back to sunbathing, following Lyon around the house, and licking the curtains to her heart's content.❤️

Great news: @chdc.bsky.social has confirmed that the Bouvry Exports slaughterhouse in Alberta, which was once Canada's largest horse slaughterhouse, has permanently closed! The closure follows years of horrific cruelty and suffering, with the company being convicted and fined in 2025.
