Four Swords seemed to be one of the well liked ones from what I remember. I think part of the hate for ST and PH too was because they were continuations of Wind Waker and we know how people felt about that lol

000

Oh you are so right. I never even think about the handheld games but TH truly was hated beyond belief lol

It was big discourse on launch in forums and stuff.

The 3 day loop definitely turned off a lot of people but its reputation is legendary. It’s pretty widely held up as an absolute masterpiece now.

Huh? The black sheeps have always been Wind Waker and Skyward Sword. When Twilight Princess released everyone complained it wasn’t as dark as Majora and people are constantly glazing Majora. I’m super confused.

That said, I’m still active behind the scenes helping out with The Horror Game Awards, so you’ll still see me around in that space! I really appreciate all your understanding and support while I pause personal projects to recharge. Hope you’re all taking care out there 🖤

Hey Dead Souls, I’m going to be stepping back from my personal content for a while so no streams or new video uploads for the foreseeable future. Work and health have been taking up almost all my bandwidth, and I need to prioritize rest and taking care of myself.

We crave the comfort of monsters not bc we love the terrifying creatures in the night, but because human cruelty makes us reach for something so comfortable in its nature that it simply is what it is. In the darkness there are no masks, no hypocrisy, and no surprises. The monster is honest.

Braking a lifelong streak. Zelda system & game launches have always lined up with my birthday & served as my personal reset, but I won’t be able to grab this one. Trying to remind myself the games will still be waiting down the road, but today hits heavy with the realization that I have to let go.

The world is burning. Be more understanding to your fellow man.

An unread text is not a personal attack, a moral failing, or a demand for a diagnosis. People have limited bandwidth, demanding jobs, and lives outside their screens. You are not entitled to someone's immediate energy just because you sent a notification to their pocket.

130

Needing time to process, rest, or just exist without constantly performing availability doesn't make anyone cold, broken, or unworthy of care. Sometimes people are just tired.

This creates a loop that makes answering messages feel so heavy: *You run out of mental energy to respond *You know people expect instant availability *The anxiety of being judged, guilted, or berated for being "slow" builds up *The cognitive load doubles, making it even harder to reply

Watching someone explain that replying to messages takes real cognitive energy, only to be told they’re "mentally unwell" or "don't deserve people who care about them" is exactly why so many people shut down entirely.

The entitlement of immediate digital access to someone needs to end 🧵🪡

We are tired. Soul deep tired. It’s time to pass the torch, so please... take it. We are rooting for you.

Saying we are obsessed with it is like telling a beaten dog that still does tricks that it loves its owner... we don’t. We just didn’t want to be hit or starved. We were forced to learn the rules of a rigged game just to survive it.

I still carry the scars from the wars we fought when we were young, and the trauma from trying to make the world a better place. We hate influencer culture, too.

In recent years, the kids have started blaming us too. They say we didn’t do enough to change the world, or that we chose to be obsessed with influencer culture instead.

I am used to being blamed for everything as a Millennial—that’s been our role since I was 13. We were "killing" every industry under the sun simply because we were broke, or we were getting written off as "too woke" for daring to ask for better.
