Cute!! My bf has a Cater alt and my gf has Vil. I have Epel made, but I haven’t actually loaded him into play yet, I just have him saved in my data slots for now lol.

Val would still probably live in Ul’dah to be near his father, but he also pops back and forth from there to Gridania with his husband (and eventual children). He would consider other places if Yaxeh’a had a particular need to be there, so long as he could visit Ul’dah often.

#WoLQotD | #WoLQuestion If your WoL/OC could have a house anywhere on Hydaelyn (or a Shard) - and wasn’t locked by gameplay restrictions of housing, I literally mean anywhere - where would it be and why?

#WoLQotD | #WoLQuestion What is your WoL/oc’s favorite warm, relaxing drink? Or their favorite cold, refreshing drink? Or both! Val can never say no to a rose tea blend or an ice cold lemonade, especially raspberry.

Cursing myself as I shade every stupid fold in the ascian robes in my fan art

#WoLQotD | #WoLQuestion Does your WoL/oc have a favorite secluded spot where they go to be alone and think when things get tough? Val has a few, but his notable first two places to escape were the ruins of The Silent King and the ledges in Ishgard. He’s also fond of his own roof.

I’m actually on the journey to see if what I have is fibromyalgia or something else. I really appreciate it, thank you. 💕

Gets NSFW after the first few. This was hard to pick! I’m a vanilla player so some of these where done by pc players who spoiled me 💖 and some were edited in an art program. Valentin is everything tbh Ft his husband @yaxehaveelna.bsky.social

I didn’t expect so many people to answer my wolqotd posts and it’s been really nice. The past few days have been rough starting on what will be a very long journey to figure out my chronic pain, so reading the quotes and replies has been a very nice mental offset.

My bf’s WoL Yaxeh’a had the same experience with Oschon lol

THE JACKE AND OBORO REP THO!!!! Love it!

I cannot, because he is. Look at him, fine af.

Events leading to Heavensward were hard for him and he was terrified he’d nevee see his father again or that, worse, his father though the rumors were true. Val does also have a biological mother that he does eventually meet and it’s a complicated moment emotionally, but he does come to love her.

He loves his father very much, I might add. Redolent is an odd but doting father and is the reason Val cares so much about his appearance and being beautiful. He cares deeply for his adopted home and suffers from homesickness quite a lot on his journeys.

100 0

#WoLQotD | #WoLQuestion Is your WoL/oc related to an in-game character? Valentin was adopted by Redolent Rose when he ended up in Ul’dah as a toddler after he was stolen from his village from raiders. The Flames didn’t know how to find his home and weren’t given resources to try, so Rose took him.

#WoLQotD | #WoLQuestion Who is your WoL/ oc’s God out of the Twelve and do they actually actively worship them? If so, how devoutly? Val’s is Nald’Thal, but he claims that very passively, it’s more of a holdover from growing up in Ul’dah and not out of any active worship or devoutness.

Lucinne and Poponebe were recruited to the Scions the same time as Synnove! Basically I like to call them "sub-Wols". They are basically WoLs, but aren't put through the wringer by Hydaelyn's plans like Synnove and Xala.

Fulgur & Brynja | Melty Heatwave Arc @fulgur.etheirys.social · 10/06/2026

Fulgur is the Alexandrian reflection of Brynja (who is, herself, just *a* WoL). On the surface, she's just a pop star, of moderate fame. Outgoing, energetic, and relentlessly positive. But, when she's out of the public eye, she uses her mastery of electrope for a bit of vigilantism as a sideline.

Lafayette is definitely not the WOL. I have no idea still who she is or what she's doing, but she's out there and she's doing stuff!! She probably might have the Echo but she's kinda just a girlie at the moment

Lafayette, who is a mint Choco elezen. Why is she there? Excellent question.

Icipher is a retired WoL who now lives in Ishgard full time. She has small adventures on her own terms but prefers to stay at home working on her newest novel or other projects, and being a Viscountess. Lucien was a traveling healer before becoming WoL in DT.

Tini isn’t a WoL in her main canon. Though her godfather Morroyo IS the canon WoL. Jarnic isn’t the WoL either, though he does have the Echo. His Echo helps him in his regular job, running the family animal preserve in Dravania.

Rarema's just an Ex-Pirate Bartender, she's not fit for the WoL life. I play her as an RPC anyway, always helping out at The Drowning Wench. #WoLQotD | #WoLQuestion

Sukemori: His girlfriend and medical assistant, Gemma, takes him the most off guard. Though that’s mostly because he never expected anyone to go along willingly with his diabolical deeds and sometimes she’s more unhinged than him and he doesn’t know how to react to that.

030 0

His offspring army. Poor Val, outnumbered by his own husband and children. He’d maybe get Valen’a on his side, but is that really help?

I was just thinking about making an oc for him, I think he’s just the best 🥺

He is a doctor and you can absolutely visit his clinic! Feel free to sign the guest book too, if you go! Finally made an apartment clinic! Primal/Exodus, The Mist W:20 Subdivision Topmast Apt 26

#WoLQotD | #WoLQuestion Do you have WoL / PC / OC that isn’t actually the/a Warrior of Light in your canon for them? Sukemori is a scion and he has the echo, but he is not the WoL in my actual canon for him. He’s not exactly a ‘good’ character, so making him a savior of mankind wasn’t fitting.

He really liked him, he respected him quite a lot. Spoiler left him absolutely devastated, but he kept himself together for Lyse’s sake since she’s such a good and important friend.
