Man, there are so many great, underrated scenes that I’ve forgotten about. I went with the principle of who has something solid against Shikamaru. I don’t think Nishi has enough information. I’d have to go back and read all the chapters where he was. It could also be that he really has intel.

He's a Sensor Ninja, so he's actually connected to Ino and her division. Probably. Warning: this is a really far-fetched idea. What if Ino found out that Inojin had lost his sight and is working with Boruto? And she passes the blame onto Shikamaru. Mind Transfer Jutsu to Nishi, and then off to Kobu.

I also think something about Nishi is strange in this scene. Did he always have that expression on his face? And then there’s that ご effect. At first, I thought there was blood or saliva on his lower lip. His eyes and his slightly open mouth, it’s as if someone else were controlling him.

It was so creepy. Shikamaru was talking to Furuta, Koji, and the others, and right in the middle of a sentence, Kobu interrupted. I nearly got chills. Does that mean Nishi put him on the hook and he was hearing everything?

NISHI? THE GOAT? He was there almost from the very beginning. In NNG, when Kawaki arrived, he set up the barrier during the battle at Boro. He’s closely connected to Shikamaru. Yeah, that makes sense. That’s what I meant, Shikamaru isn’t doing what’s in the villagers’ best interest.
