Your First Firearms: A Guide 🧵

If you've looked around our account, you may have found a comic covering how to purchase a firearm through an FFL.
But, with a multitude of options to choose from, it's not always easy for someone newer to firearms to work out what should be considered as quality options for their given use case.

As a first purchase for concealed carry, we point new shooters towards the Glock 19. The model is widely accessable, has proven itself as reliable over it's lifespan, has a wide array of aftermarket support for critical supplimental accessories (holsters, magazines and weapon mounted lights), and is easy for a new shooter to both get accustomed to and maintain.

For the new shooter looking for a rifle option, we recommend acquiring an AR-15. There is no shortage of brands that will work within a given budget, and the modularity of the platform allows users to upgrade as desired over time. We recommend a new shooter keep it simple, and go with a 16 inch, free-floating barrel option, with either a mid length or carbine length gas system, and either picatinny or m-lok rails.
These configurations will help ensure support for accessories, such as a mounted light (vital for home defense - remember, one of the rules of firearm safety is being able to identify your target and what is beyond it), an optic, a sling, and offer a reliable shooting experience.

SV CERTAINLY has its issues, but like.... pokemon has always been programmed with spaghetti. People are just more critical now (as they should be of a multibillion dollar franchise)

The new L.S. Dunes album is really damn good. I only wish that when i saw them live, it wasnt the worst concert ive ever been to. Tainted my enjoyment of their music a bit

Hey all, im just gonna say this. For the next four years SHUT THE FUCK UP. Not everything you think needs to be online. Have a filter and let your inside thoughts be inside thoughts. What you say can bite you in the ass. Keep yourself safe. Keep your friends safe. Keep your community safe

Coyote HRT: Filler 2 The horrors may persist, but so shall I. And so shall these carts, ziptied to this asshats truck. Major thanks to AyvieArt and Lakehounds for the inspiration

A two panel comic, the first depicting a coyote returning some makeup to the store, the second of the same coyote dealing with bigots
