Valkey often caches in front of a SQL database. Edith Puclla of Percona shows how with the AWS Advanced JDBC Wrapper: the first call takes 165.3ms from MySQL, then 10 repeat reads take 8.9ms total from Valkey. #Valkey #OpenSource #Caching

Valkey holds the data apps need right now, ready in microseconds. Valkey Search queries it, like “docs on this topic, in French, changed today.” New writes show up instantly. Allen Samuels and Chaitanya Nuthalapati of AWS explain.

ValkeyConf Prague = wrapped. 🔒 A full day of deep dives, demos, maintainer brainpower, and a lot of “wait, Valkey can do that?” Huge thanks to everyone who showed up, shared what they’re building, and made today feel very Valkey. But the night’s not over yet. 👀 Next stop: community dinner.

Valkey doesn't speak Prometheus natively. Edith Puclla and Kristiyan Ivanov run two exporters side by side: redis_exporter as a sidecar in every pod, scraped via PodMonitor, and BetterDB across the cluster for commandlog and slot stats. Read the full walkthrough: valkey.io/blog/valkey-...
