Why I prefer formative action over FA. Too often, “formative assessment” turns into assessment without grades and then we focus on tools. Formative action is about how you ACT on the information. What am I curious about? What misconceptions do I expect? How will I respond when I see them?

Had a great time in Ipswich with my wonderful colleague Valentina Devid, to discuss how formative action could be helpful for sixth form.
