Let's do this! #AI

A bluesky post by Angry Eagle saying

Better idea: instead of replacing the workforce with AI agents, let's replace the executives.

Then all the profits won't get hoarded at the top, since the AI won't take huge compensations -- or any payment beyond their use cost really.

Unions can vote on the AI's business objectives.

A post and reply.

The post: Listen, if a *Bad President* can come in and take away your rights and we're dependent on a *Good President* replacing them in four years to give us back our rights, *then we do not have any rights*.

If politicians can take or distribute them, then they're not "*Inalienable*", and they're not "*rights*."

We don't have *inalienable rights*, we have *conditional privileges*, divvied out according to the whims of whoever *currently holds the reins*.

And if we want to have *actual* rights, then we must build a system in which *no one* has the power to take them away to begin with.

The reply: This is an important thing to think about."

I **Love** the cover of *Cells at Work* volume 3! #CellsAtWork #Manga

A very pale man in white work clothes is brandishing a knife while yelling. His white hair covers one eye, the other eye looks manic. He wears a white hat that says "White Blood Cell". Riding on his shoulders is a small girl brandishing a gardening implement. She is wearing galoshes and a long blue shirt. Her reddish hair streams behind her. She's also wearing a hat that says "White Blood Cell", but normally her hat says "Platelet". She is also yelling, and looks quite happy.

Near my place, a nearby neighborhood goes all out the Eve of Sir Isaac Newton's birthday.

A street at night with luminaries lit along the roadside. One house has lots of cheery lights glowing.

Do you enjoy going down #wikipedia rabbit holes? Are you more of a visual person rather than tabs? Take a look at www.wikiboard.org You can have lots of

Screenshot of a window showing a canvas with many Wikipedia windows with lines connecting them.

Truckers pick up a nasty hitchhiker. #ExplainAFilmPlotBadly

Movie poster with a large egg with a crack in it. Green light and gas issues from the crack. At the top is the word "ALIEN" with very wide kerning.

Luigi right off some famous meme. Top show Luigi looking somewhat confused alongside text that says "Space Billionaires (noun)". Bottom shows an enthusiastic Luigi alongside text that says "Space Billionaire (verb)"

Continuing work on Himeji Castle in Nanoblocks. Having fun doing this. pixey.org/i/web/post/80191614885575… #SilentSunday

Partial build of Himeji Castle in Nanoblocks. Smaller than Lego. The foundation is completed, and a few levels of the castle proper are done.

Having fun building Himeji Castle in #nanoblocks. These things are really small: 4 mm stud to stud.

The foundation of Himeji Castle. A gray and green base with 8 layers of bricks. Most bricks are light/dark brown. There are some grey bricks. There's some detail inside the castle shown.

Playing Sky Team with Marcus. #BoardGames #plushtodon

A cute mastodon plushie behind a board that looks like an airplane cockpit. It looks like he's trying to land at Keflavik international airport. There are dice placed at various places on the board with switches showing that the flaps are part way down, but there are planes that have to be moved out of the way.

Cthulhu hopes you had a happy #solstice!
