I know I'm not the only trans person who would rather be called a slur by an ignorant person who can be reasonably told what the right words are and they accept it with kindness than deal with the polite "dignity and respect" from those who would segregate us.

I think this is the propaganda working. The media present trans people as inherently unreasonable people who would get hounded out of society if they could for getting a pronoun wrong once. Meanwhile trans people accept horrific dehumanising language as the cost of being visible in public.

I think it's a shame its taken this long, but it's the right way to go about it. Renewables are clearly better generally and should be used as much as possible, but nuclear is also much, much, much better than fossil fuels and getting off those should have been a higher priority.

Why they need the original referral from my GP to the gender service when I've provided them with 2 referrals to GRS and 2 gender dysphoria diagnoses already I can't imagine. Bureaucracy designed to slow you down as usual I guess.

Yeah just want to get things off the ground at all. They needed a stupid amount of documents, some of which the Welsh Gender Service were able to hold hostage for weeks before sending me the correct ones (they sent me 13 pages of some other trans person's medical documents instead). 😬

Evidence has shown time and time again most cis people absolutely won't have our backs even if they'll happily be polite in person. Actually giving up on something they want is out of the question for most, even people I used to call friends. Actual cis allies are rare.

I in no way said it mandated it. Where did that come from? Leaving the door open means you have to trust the party to deal with it fairly and I don't think it's unreasonable for people to want to avoid being at the mercy of that. It's a risky route to go down to suggest any Jewish person who may be associated with any such group, without even accounting for the reasons, should or even could be punished in this way. It has a lot of potential to be misused, let alone represented as an attack on Jewish people.

I don't think I ever had one of those. People have frequently been super confused/critical of what I eat for breakfast, especially as I rarely have breakfast before work. For like 2 years I had 2 Jalfreezi curries per work day every day and people thought it was very weird. I might be autistic.

When my wife came out as trans one of the first things I did was go looking on the internet for advice on how to navigate it because I wanted us to stay together. Basically *everything* I saw was misery, bitterness & acrimonious divorce. It was scary & gave a very skewed idea of what to expect
