Listening to Al-Sayed on MSNOW's 'The Beat,' it strikes me Dems have 3 personally acceptable to me nominees for President in 2028. AOC, Al-Sayed, and Jon Ossoff. In the last three presidential elections I voted for Democrats only in opposition to totally unacceptable GOP candidates.

#filmsky I prefer to a non-judgemental approach to film criticism, but feel there needs to be a counter argument to accepted art film criticism. Most of today's art film critics are based in NY or LA, w/ reputations gained from locational ability to see various art films. Now, the doors are open.

The US and UK policies toward Israel aren't so much reflective of the current popular support for Israel, as it is political stagnation. Both have built up a political infrastructure around support for Israel since 1948, and it isn't easy to dismantle it, in spite of current popular support.
