After playing Flower and Journey, it felt like a reskin. I liked that it was chill with some decent music, and it wasn’t very long. The art? Eh…it was ok? Gameplay? Meh. 6/10 for me. 000
Vaded Vagrant @vadedvagrant.bsky.social · 07/12/2024I beat Metal Gear Survive. It was fun, but was rough around the edges. It has a pretty good explore/loot/craft/base build gameplay loop. The bow and guns were overall fun to use. It definitely felt like an expansion/alt game mode to MGS V with reused assets. Story and characters were thin and bad. 110

The sweet and spicy sauce and little grilled onion bits on it were yummy. Bacon was decent. The added grilled jalapeños were a nice addition. The mustard didn’t work for me 110

The deep-fried, cheese-stuffed mushroom was a nice twist, even after I bit into it and searing hot juice scalded my mouth. Part of the mushroom was tough to bite off with the burger, though. Five Guys is better imo 000

It’s pretty much just more Suikoden without adding much new, but the 6 person party, recruitment, and base expansion is all still fun. I like the art, too. I wish team combos and rune magic were better, though (rune magic apparently gets better). 020
