I had to look up what the Zorn pallette consisted of. Pretty much the same palette I use, except Vermillion, which I didn't know what color it was. Instead, I use crimson red and cadmium red and yellow or a burnt sienna instead of the crimson. I don't end up using the crimson often.

Is this your work? It's stunning.

It almost feels like a Truner landscape. It's probably the limited color pallette used.

The arrogance. However, I am not sure what LBJ could have given the Pope. They have relics which are thousands of years old. Painting done by Michelangelo, DaVinci, and Raphael, to name a few.

I should add that Washington crossing the Delaware is at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. The piece is 21 feet long and 12 feet tall. It is gigantic, and it is magnificent. If you go to see it, I recommend you go on a weekday during the day. Less crowds.

I should mention that Barker & Llewelyn are set in London pre WW1. Very well done and researched.

Give Will Thomas a try. Hard to find at your local bookstore or even at Barnes and Noble if you go to the physical store. Also, Sparks and Bainbridge mystery, except it is two women (written by a man under the pen name Allison Montclair), very well done and funny.

If you have seen the Apple TV series Murderbot and enjoyed it, then give Martha Wells novellas a try. Caution: Do not expect detailed descriptions, emotions, or deep characters. The story is told from the perspective of a security unit. A fun, easy read. #books #murderbot #novella

To any artist out there, I have a question. Have you been excited by a work of art, and then when working on it, the work feels tedious? This is a WIP I am doing with color pencils, based on Rockwell's painting. Almost done, but the color pencils have been a slog. #art #Rockwell #pencils
