springtime in full swing! here's a wee lil Carrie with her buggy friend :> #digitalart #twwm #esk

image depicts a lil squirrel-like creature with fledgling robin colors and markings and crabapple blossoms and leaves blooming from their sides sitting on a mossy log mushroom-covered in a very vibrant, green forest. on their paw is a lil boxelder bug looking up at her.

lil orange guy is named Pebbles and he goes on lil adventures exploring his fantastical post-apocalyptic world while running away from his evil mother :> #fantasy #digitalart #art #cat? #kinda?

image depicts a flooded landscape with rocks rising from the shallow seas. in the center is a bright traffic-cone-orange cat-like creature with large ears, staring at a sun the same color as him. flanking the sun on either side is two radio towers alight with anti-collision lights. in the far distance is a distorted cityscape, chunks of buildings missing or suspended in the air overlaid with a staticky texture.

oops the beastie is mad. don't call them a beastie though because that's what made them mad #digitalart #monster #art

image depicts a large fluffy white and black monster using blackened arms to prop themselves up on a metal railing. their face is turned towards the viewer, and it's split into three identical "plates" that form a hexagonal pyramid when closed, but since it's not closed it looks more like a flower with three petals with an eye on each. they're drooling and look pissed off, their body illuminated by a neon green light source with some chromatic aberration on their body and on the distant buildings behind them.

based off a sunset reflecting off of a red pine #digitalart #esk #twwm #pine #art

image depicts a small striped creature with branches growing out of them carefully walking across the end of a thin branch of a red pine. the sunset is hidden, but reflecting red light on the individual pine needles and twigs and on the underbelly of the esk.

roughly based off the poem 'stopping by woods on a snowy evening' by robert frost. it's so snowy out it feels appropriate to share. hope everyone's staying warm #digitalart #art #esk #thosewhowentmissing #forest #snow

the scene is a snowy winter forest at night awash in tones of blue, leafless deciduous trees mixed in with the occasional conifer and everything is coated in snow. there's a small esk in the foreground, long and snakelike with flowers instead of ears staring longingly into the woods. in the woods, a thin towering esk with a tree embedded into its back stares ominously with white blank eyes at the smaller esk.

saw some really good clouds the other day so naturally i painted some salt flats, which there aren't any remotely close to me. but that's what a really nice cloud inspired so here you go #digitalart #esk #twwm #thosewhowentmissing #saltflat #clouds #art #painting

the image depicts a purple and blue pastel landscape of a flooded salt flats where the ground mirrors the sky. the clouds are purple and puffy except for one long line of solid distant clouds, slightly illuminated by an unseen setting sun. in the distance, some rocky formations are peeking over the horizon and reflected in the water. in the center is a whimsical, elegant winged creature that resembles a pegasus but it's actually a creature called an esk, a nature spirit. anyways go check out esk, which belongs to a group on deviantart called thosewhowentmissing.

i love to draw awful beasties. they're my favorite. especially this one as of late #monster #digitalart #beast

image depicts an incredibly fluffy white and grey monster with black striping and occasional spots. the end of the neck is wrinkly skin covered in coarse white short hairs, and the head is split into three vibrant red identical sections like some fucked up three petal flower with tiny black teeth embedded within and a black beady eye on the top of each head section. the wrinkly skin is pulled back in some vague grinning formation while it drools like a beast. it has four black long flexible whiskers arranged around the wrinkly neck just behind the red head sections. this thing is not very nice.

finished the forest's cradle event! may post the in between prompts at some point but been very busy with work and such. enjoy! #twwm #esk #digitalart #painting

three esk stand upon a massive dead tree, overlooking the canopy of a dense cloud forest. the middle esk stands proudly, with symbols of a wing shape forming from her shoulders, signalling a change that has just occurred from her completion of this event. below them, another esk looks up at them, unfortunately not quite built for climbing and remains on the ground.

new esk event out! gonna try my hand at drawing cloud forests. they're so neat #esk #twwm #digitalart #art

scene is a darkened cloud forest, lush and foggy. four esk stand in the center, two larger ones and two smaller ones, with the smaller ones riding on top of the larger ones. the larger esk on the left is hunched inwards more, looking fearful. the larger esk on the right shows a neutral expression, looking away towards the depths of the forest, except they're not actually looking because they have no eyes

got a new esk and did some lighting practice with them. funny fella is named Rattle and they frequently misplace their head. also discovered a new love of drawing ferns #twwm #digitalart #redwoods #esk #art

a painted scene with a strange plant-creature thing that stands tall in the redwood forest. they have no neck, instead carrying around their detached wooden head on two arms protruding from their shoulders. the place where their neck should be is hollow and has a hole surrounded by chunks of redwood tree bark. upon their back is moss and ferns, on their legs are thorns and fungus. they have a patched bag around one of their extra arms. the scene is at sunset, a soft golden glow coming through the tall trees and illuminating the crisp ferns of the undergrowth. please appreciate the ferns it took me so long to draw all of them

some more art. origin prompt for one of my esk, showing her home and the residents that she protects :] #twwm #art #digitalart #chickens come join esk it'll change your life www.deviantart.com/thosewhowent...

a plant-ghost-creature, reddish-brown with a white beard-like marking and spots around her neck and chest, sits in the golden hour in a field. there are chickens all around in various tasks - sitting upon heads, cuddling, disturbing the peace. the esk looks mildly annoyed but she always looks like that anyway. there's a second, smaller esk on her side, picking flowers. she's mostly black with a yellow chest and snout, very fluffy with fur that curls back into itself, and a floating tail made of a trail of rocks.
in the back left is a tree line leading into a forest, and on the other side is an old chicken coop with a rooster-shaped weather vane, naturally. two more esk are beside this coop, one taller and white and black and also with a rock tail, the other one smaller with red/gold/green markings. tis a peaceful scene

quicker, looser thing for today. one of my characters that's been occupying my mind as of late. #art #digitalart #dragon #itsdragonshapedbutnotadragon

beeg dragon thing that isn't actually a dragon but it's too hard to explain in a single post why that is. it has a solid black fluffy body riddled with scarring and large, bright orange/yellow translucent bat-like wings that also have holes and tears in them. the eyes are bright orange/yellow with tiny pupils and the snoot is covered in a leather mask with copper teeth studded in as this poor creature has no teeth anymore and so it uses the mask to bite people. it is flying/landing with its claws outstretched looking angry at the world in which they definitely are.

i really, really had the urge to paint a foggy landscape, then tossed Luca in here. trying to loosen up details on my paintings so it doesn't take 4.6 billion years to finish them. #twwm #esk #digitalart #landscape

a foggy hillside with patches of open field but primarily dominated by conifer woods. the world fades into white and grey in the horizon with distant birds flying through the air. towards the center a strange furry three-tailed creature with branches wrapped around their shoulders and horns on their head gazes into the mist alongside their two crow companions. the field is covered in white flowers.

more Spire art - more traditional watercolor, and some fun poses! kinda feel bad that i'm focusing so much on him and not on my other esk. #twwm #watercolor #esk #traditionalart

various poses of the same plant-dog-hybrid-ghost-thingy that i've been obsessed about. far left is a rather sad attempt at a different perspective that didn't end up working. right next to it is Spire dropping down from a higher level to a lower one. above and to the right is him screeching to a halt, and below that is an above view of Spire curled up in the fetal position (me too, bud). next to that is another above view of him walkin around. and on the very bottom that boy is running for his got damn life.

i dont do just digital painting - i also sew! here's an art doll in progress. the flowers in the back will be re-painted & inserted into the body once the fur is on. #sewing #esk #twwm #artdoll

an in-progress art doll, made of a plastic ball & socket armature with quilt batting sewn on. the figure is four-legged and white and fluffy without many details - there's no head, no feet, and the tail is but a nub. the figure is situated on a makeshift backdrop with a blue flannel ground and a grey wrinkled back. there's a pile of purple plastic flowers behind the figure but they're not for decoration - they'll be for the art doll, eventually, once i repaint them.

some traditional art this time - watercolor! love this guy :] #twwm #esk #watercolor

a plant-dog-creature thing called an esk, from the TWWM group (https://www.deviantart.com/thosewhowentmissing). he is sitting among a bunch of red flowers, and has red eyes. everything else is in greyscale as he is colorblind except for the color red.

i love liminal spaces. heavily referenced a picture of a parking garage i took and i think it turned out pretty good, but it also made my hand feel Quite Bad these past couple days. i do need to practice my architecture more. #twwm #digitalart #art

a painting of an empty parking garage, sickly green/yellowish in color with patches of light intersected with darker shadows with red pipes crisscrossed across the ceiling. in the distance, a hunched over creature stares at the viewer with white, glowing eyes. spoooooky. i took a picture of a parking garage, traced it, modified it, and painted it.

Fist-size nondescript ground bird walking attentively alongside a robust orange domestic chicken, herself bent to peck at the dirt.

The hefty fluffy chicken and the scrappy little wild bird, perched together on a branch. The tragopan is brown speckled with tan and has brick-pink comb skin on their head.

pt 4 of my minecraft nether soundtrack series! this one is inspired by the track Warmth :] i love basalt deltas but why do they have to be so damn dangerous just finished this one today so the next one probably wont come out for some time #minecraft #fanart #digitalart

a floating island where a traveler and their wolf companion are resting rather precariously on the edge, hanging their feet over a vast, distant lava lake. there's a couple of strange basalt formation rising from the purplish fog, and the travelers are surrounded by small lava pools and lava falls. in the distance, magma cubes are bouncin around and will probably be a problem later

pt 3 of my minecraft nether series! a representation of Dead Voxel :] the rendering of the lil guys isnt my favorite but i do like the way the biome ended up looking #art #digitalart #minecraft #fanart

a traveler and their wolf companion take a path in the Nether that follows along the edge of a lava lake, heading into a surprisingly peaceful green-teal warped forest full of towering mushroom trees and glowing lights. there's a couple funny lookin endermen just hanging around mindin their business

the traveler and their wolf companion continue on their journey now through a desolate soul sand valley, dark brown ground with distorted faces swirling beneath their feet. they are dwarfed by giant nether brick arches, cracked and partially crumbling, fading out into a desaturated teal fog. spooky

weird creature is shocked to almost get run over by a car. world is in greyscale except for the red brake lights and the creature's bright red eyes. it's an urban landscape on a rough pot-holed road which means its probably michigan or some other damn state that doesn't give a flying fart about their roads
