Steam Frame arrived yesterday. Remote play failures have prevented me from actually using it. I’m lazy right now so I am going to throw a fresh windows build on a new NVME and confirm it is a software problem. Been planning on starting a fresh install for a bit and this was the push I needed.

4070Ti Super went and failed on me. 5080 purchased and installed. Thing is a chonky tank. Steam Frame waitlist joined… Waiting on my fluxpose to ship. Damn VRChat is an expensive free game. It is also how I interact with 90% of my friends. Worth it.

Went for my 4th run this morning. I hadn’t run in about a year. First 3 runs were rough and I couldn’t break 10 min mile. Today I ran a 9:38. I am also down 7lbs this month. I am actually running my ass off.

Le sigh. Thinking a fueling issue. Rodents like to eat the fuel lines or the fuel has gone bad or the fuel pump perished. She’s been sitting for a while but I had her running about a year ago. Going to try starter fluid tomorrow morning after letting the battery charge up over night.

So I replaced the water pump which was pissing coolant everywhere and the thermostat, we shall see in a few days if this has solved the issue. Also flushed and replace the coolant and changed the oil.

My V8 trying to overheat on the drive home from work today was not on my bingo card. Coolant all over the splash tray and I worry the oil level is too high…. So which horrible, life ruining thing is fucked now? I just got out of debt…. Fuck you life, I just don’t have the strength for this.

MFF was my first Con of any kind. It was also the first time I got to meet so many of my friends and turned those digital friendships into tangible physical ones. If that wasn’t enough, I got gender affirmation IRL for the first time since my egg cracked. 💜 It was an amazing experience all around.
