Yes, it was. She didn’t really “belong” to anyone. The community was taking care of her the best they could but when given a chance to give her a better life they took it.

She’s a little over a year, she’s not at all feral but she does have a “look”. She was surrendered with her sister in June from a tent encampment.

Good news! Nova found her forever home today, they are committed to going slow and letting her world get bigger on her terms. They read the 20 page decompression doc 2 times and took notes! She’s set up for success!!!

Nova didn’t seem quite ready for a multi day adventure away but she’s back and waiting for her forever family! Fingers crossed she finds them soon!

Since leaving her siblings, Nova is blossoming into such a happy happy girl. She’s off to get spayed tomorrow so let’s wish her the best! Once spayed the rescue will assess if she’s ready for adoption or needs more time to adjust to the “single” life!

She isn’t officially adopted yet but had a meet and greet last week while I was out of town so 🤞 she goes home later this week when her potential adopters can pick her up. Nova needed to get separated from her siblings more urgently than Rogue needed to come back. Littermate syndrome

Latest foster pup, Nova! I dare you to not be mesmerized by her eyes! She’s an approx 7 mo old charcoal gray pittie mix. She’s been with her siblings for her whole life so she’s adjusting to being her own dog and not just part of her family pack.

For context this is her mom, she’s currently being fostered by a professional dog trainer who specializes in working dogs, including narcotic and explosive detection. This litter was temperament tested and while Rouge is smart and will need boundaries. She’s not as driven as some of her siblings
