Our lab members got to try out mirror drawing at our latest lab meeting! As simple as it might sound in theory, it's quite a hard task to get the hang of, as adapting your motor skills to work in a mirrored view is quite difficult for your head to wrap around!

As spring approaches, we’ve been reminiscing about our favorite lab meetings from the Fall. In one of the most memorable, we sampled “miracle berries,” which make sour things taste sweet. After eating the berries, we drank apple cider vinegar and lemon juice, which were as sweet as syrup!

Remembering how much of a joy it was to showcase some visual illusions during Science at the Square earlier this month! It's always a pleasure to showcase just how much our eyes automatically adapt throughout a single day, and just how strange the results can be!
